A Place In The Sun is a brand-new, ultra luxurious Mountain Village estate set in absolute seclusion and privacy. This 6 bedroom, 6 bathroom contemporary residence is just over 10,000 square feet and is nestled amongst 2.63 acres of old growth spruce and has ski-in/ski-out access to the Bridges ski run via a charming, private forest path. This home has multiple outdoor entertaining areas creating a seamless transition between indoor and outdoor living spaces, and the natural environment. With exquisite details of Telluride Gold Stone, antique timbers, black galaxy granite and handcrafted wood work, A Place In The Sun is truly remarkable in every way.

Guests enter the home into a breathtaking great room framed by hand crafted wood work. A luxurious lounge area surrounds a 30 foot, floor to ceiling stone fireplace. On either side of the stone fireplace are 30 foot cathedral windows stretching up to lofty vaulted ceilings. These windows look over one of the outdoor entertaining areas, and across to the San Sophia mountain range to the north. To the left of the great room is a large, gourmet chef's kitchen featuring a Wolf 48" range with griddle, a Sub Zero refrigerator and freezer and a walk-in pantry. Adjoining the kitchen is a grand dining room that seats 8 guests and has a gas fireplace. A hallway leads guests from the kitchen and dining areas to an exercise room and a 3 car garage. Just off the exercise room is a hot tub on an exterior patio, overlooking the woods.

Leading away from the great room in the opposite direction of the kitchen is another hallway. Off this hallway to the right there is a private office if work calls on your Telluride vacation. The hallway continues into study with a cozy lounge and TV. Just beyond the study is a library breezeway. The library breezeway has a desk and more seating, and connects the main residence with the guest cottage.

On the top level of the main residence are 4 guest suites. There are 2 luxurious king master suites with private bathrooms and walk in closets. Both bathrooms have steam showers and jetted tubs. One of these guest masters is considered the "grand master suite" because it has a coffee bar and an oversized bathroom with marble detail. The 3rd guest suite has 2 queen beds and the 4th guest suite is a bunk room. The bunkroom has 2 sets of bunk beds with queen beds on the bottom and single beds on the top. There is also a king sized bed in this room. All 4 guest suites have a gas fireplace.

The self contained guest cottage has an additional 2 queen suites, each with a private bathroom (one bathroom has a shower only). One of these queen suites is open to the lounge area below. The guest cottage has its own lounge area with a TV and gas fireplace, and a full gourmet kitchen. The guest cottage also has it's own private deck with multiple seating areas.

The lower level of the home is a recreation and relaxation center. There is a home theater, a games room with a billiards table, a wet bar, a dine-in wine cellar, a powder room and a gallery hall. The home does have a three-story elevator if you legs are weary after a day of skiing. Other details include a humidification and air conditioning system, in floor radiant heat and gas forced air, Crestron A/V and lighting and 2 powder rooms.
