Christina Casas is the President and Founder of Telluride Rentals. Christina started coming to Telluride in 1997 as a second homeowner and originally started the company to manage a couple of properties she owned in the area. From her two properties the business took off to over 60 properties that Telluride Rentals currently manages. Christina and her husband Juan Carlos have four boys and spend their time between Barcelona, Spain and Telluride. Christina went to college at University of Colorado and Pepperdine University and has a MBA from one of Europe's top business schools (IESE). The first trip to Telluride is all it took for this European family to make Telluride their second home. The Casas family grew up skiing in Switzerland, Austria and Spain, but now Telluride is the only mountain locale where they want to spend their time. Christina loves to ski, golf and hike and spends half the year in Telluride doing the things she loves.
Georgie Bishop - Reservations
Georgie Bishop works in reservations for Telluride Rentals. She initially came to Colorado on a six month sabbatical from her home in Australia to ski, and fell in love with Telluride! Four years later, Georgie calls Telluride home. After finishing an Economics degree at the University of Sydney, Georgie worked in advertising & marketing in Sydney, and also for her family's vineyard in Orange, New South Wales. Georgie traveled throughout Europe for many years and lived in the ski town of Chamonix (France) for six months. But there was something about Telluride that was different. “I knew as soon as I drove down this valley that this was a place I would stay for a while”. Georgie loves skiing, hiking, biking, and going to the Butcher & the Baker for brunch on Sundays!
Fletcher Otwell - Director of Operations
Fletcher Otwell moved to Telluride in 2007 with an Engineering Degree from The Colorado School of Mines. Born and raised in Prescott, AZ he looked forward to spending his summers at a family cabin on nearby Hastings Mesa. Now he enjoys the convenience of mountain bike trails and ski lift access within a few steps of his home in Telluride. The adventures available in these mountains and the company of a strong community give him a lifetime of reasons to stay. He is our Operations Manager and considers the team at Telluride Rentals another great reason to call this place home.
John Howe - Guest Services
John Howe is a guest services manager for Telluride Rentals. John has worked with Telluride Rentals since it's earliest days. As one of your guest service managers, John is on hand to address any questions or concerns you may have once you have arrived. This role has given John the opportunity to become friends with many of our guests, and he is always very happy to see returning guests. John has backpacked in the majestic San Juan Mountains since the early 70’s, and they offer him solace every time he looks at them. Moving to Telluride and the Mountain Village ten years ago had been a long term goal as I wanted to become part of this gregarious community. John currently lives in Mountain Village with his wife Teresa, and he sits on the Mountain Village town council.
