I thought the house was magnificent, roomy, comfortable, yet warm and inviting. The ski on ski off experience was second to none. The kitchen was very well outfitted, and ther hottub a welcome end of day routine. I would recommend this house to any and all who want the ultimate ski experience in Telluride. Glenn Pagan

This home is a wonderful combination of true rustic flair and high end finishes. There was absolutely nothing missing. Extremely clean and accommodating are other words that describe this gorgeous mansion.
If I had to choose a negative...it might be that the heaters worked a bit too well.
One aspect of our trip that was not clear to us sea level dwellers is that the altitudes in and around Telluride are extremely high and many of our party suffered from altitude sickness. Be prepared for this.
Other aspects of our trip that we would like to share is that the market grocery store, only about a mile a way, has everything… free gondolas are amazing and this is a first class resort with all the bells and whistles.

We hosted a small wedding at this beautiful home. It was like having
our own private lodge in the mountains. All guests had their own
master bedroom suite with plenty of privacy, yet we also had lots of
room for the wedding, the gourmet meal, and the party following.
Our chef found the kitchen to be well equipped, with a only a few
exceptions and the electronics that have been actually hooked up or
installed were very nice.
A few tips to the owner: you need more trash cans, soap, shampoo
etc. The Theater has no equipment or furniture and though there is
an nice library of DVD's in the downstairs family room, there is not a
DVD to play them on. There are several dead aspen trees which will
soon become a problem if not removed. Two are already leaning
against the roof or a deck and another is at risk of falling onto the
back side of the building. A written instruction sheet or perhaps
some notes set up around the house with tips on how to use the
home would be very helpful. An ice maker in the kitchen would be
great - right now there are not even any ice trays.
One last word to potential guests. The home is wonderful and well
located for skiing. However, if views of the mountain are important,
you will want to try another property. The biggest thing missing
here is a view of the mountains or the canyon. That said, the aspen
trees are gorgeous in the summer, and we truly loved our stay.
Manager Response: 07/30/2009There is now a DVD player in the family room and the dead trees are slated for removal. There is an ice-maker inside the freezer and an additional trash can has been purchased. Household cleansers are replenished upon request; toiletries are supplied in an initial amount and not replenished.
