great place. comfortable, stunning views, good light. We were 4 adults and 2 kids (4 and 6 yrs old). House is at about 10,00ft elevation, so a night at lower elevation (Montrose) is a good idea. Rental agency smoothed all issues including food in fridge, delivery of shipped bags and Christmas presents. (I don't want to say too many nice things as we don't want competition for our spot next year!)

Was a great house in a great location. Living room Furnishings in desperate need of updating. Were old, shabby and uncOmfortable. Kitchen pots and pans, silverware etc.. Also need updating. Too cluttered. And way too much old food lying around.

Ski-in or out of this unique custom home on 3.5 acres of private wooded land with spectacular mountain views and tons of privacy. Designed and constructed to resemble a mining structure with Victorian accents, this home reflects the historic legacy of Telluride, but with all the modern conveniences, including radiant in-floor heating on beautiful wood, flagstone and carpeted floors. This home was designed to be cozy and comfortable, but with ample space for all. Furnishings are antique and rustic.

Copperview features an open, gourmet-equipped kitchen overlooking the patio, hot tub, firepit and alpine forest views. The dining area is within the kitchen/great room for a casual dining experience. A comfortable, congenial living room is dominated by a large stone wood-burning fireplace and huge windows to enjoy the mountain scenery. A breakfast nook with comfy banquette seating and coffee table, perfect to contemplate the slopes below. The patio beyond has a snow-melt system, seating for outside dining, a hot tub, a gas grill and a sound system. Ski from the back door right onto the slopes with direct access to two ski runs, Teddy's Way and Sundance.

As for bedrooms, there is a bedroom on the main level with a full-size bed and an en suite bath. Upstairs you will find an office, a guest bedroom with a queen bed and a separate bathroom. The king-bedded master suite boasts the same incredible views as the great room and has a gas fireplace and very large flat screen TV. The en suite bathroom has a clawfoot tub, large steam shower and bidet.

On the lower level, there are two bedrooms that share a bathroom. This is a great place for the kids or nanny. One bedroom has two twins; the other has two sets of twin bunk beds for the kids and another shorter bed, suitable for a very young child. These rooms share a common TV room. On this level is also the laundry room and the access to the ski run, right outside the door!
