This was a spacious condo, conveniently located across from the Mountain Village grocery and gondola. It was very comfortably appointed and the space was well-utilized--downstairs TV room a real plus. Only drawback was a strong septic smell outside--we were told this was from a neighboring condo project which was not being properly maintained.

We spent the month of July in Elkstone 1 and had a great month. We were with another family and had plenty of room - the extra den on the lower level was a key in giving our families the space they needed with 5 small children between the 2 families. While the house was amazing, it is more convenient in the summer to be in the town of Telluride, but this would be a great house during winter to be close to the slopes. It is a top notch house with lots of lovely details. And the property manager met all of our needs so quickly.

The home was of high quality, recent construction, in great condition, with good furniture and comfortable bedding. The home was very clean upon arrival. All the amenities expected were there. Only complaint was the road noise, as we visited in the summer and kept the windows open - all of the delivery trucks make a significant amount of noise in the morning as they enter Mountain Village and this property backs up to the main entrance to Mountain Village. I suspect this is much less of an issue in the winter when you keep the windows closed. Also, a few light bulbs are out and should have been replaced before our arrival. The convenience of having the grocery store and the gondola such a short walking distance away was a great plus.

We stayed here for my daughters wedding weekend. The bedrooms and bathrooms were incredible as well as the living space (indoors and out).
We had 4 women including the bride and mother of the bride to get ready and the accommodations were perfect.
I highly recommend this townhouse.

From finding the house on the internet,contracting with Telluride rentals, to the check in with a great superintendant andre...simply a breese! The house is fantastic..every is there..don't have to bring anything except some food as things can be pricy in Telluride.Location is great..don't need a car there except if you like fishing ,like I do... you need a car to get to the rivers,. my perfect day is to hike in the morning,,,Golf or fish in the afternoon..hit the great hot tub at the house after those activities...and then think about libations and dinner! Then do it all over again the next day. Highly recommend house...Dr John Janicke

the home is great, well-located close to thegondola but has a big problem: very close to the main road and since the house does not ave air conditioning, the windows remain open and you hear every truck coming into Mountain Village allnight long and very early in the morning. must be great in winter with the wndows closed...

Elkstone Place 1 is the one. Just keep in mind, you will not want to leave.
Close to everything. Five minute walk to: Groceries, Ski Out/In, Beer Garden
and Ski Rentals. The house feels warm and is brand new. Great Kitchen, Hot
Tub and Bed Rooms are perfect. We will go back next year. Good place to just
chill after a long day on the slopes.
