Skiing in Style Overall Rating Reviewed by Ski Bums on 03/17/2010
We had a wonderful time. The house was great. Very spacious. Media room and pool table kept the kids occupied so adults could relax and enjoy upstairs. In shower steam was an added benefit in both upstairs baths to assist aching muscles. Plenty of room for two families with total of 5 kids. Short walk to Gondola a breeze and locker/lounge in Mountain Village for pre and post changing was a life saver.
Andre was our contact from Telluride Rentals and was awesome. He made sure we had everything we needed and couldn't do enough to make our stay everything we expected.
The only negative was the lack of a hot tub, but we were very pleased with the overall quality of our stay. more »
The Best Ski Trip My Family and I Have Ever Taken! Overall Rating Reviewed by tam on 01/16/2010
The unit was amazing...it filled ALL of our family's needs......my husband
does
not ski so the theater/media room was purrfect! The kitchen was state of
the
art and the flat screen/hd tv's were apropo for my football watching boys!
The
rooms were all well appointed.
The location of Elkstone #3 was great.....close to the Market and Gondola
and
ski in, ski out.
The weather was picture-perfect: blue skies, sunny days, and NOT freezing
(during the day)!
The mountain was breathtaking......and the accessibilty to the lifts great -
no long lines.
Some suggestions: 1. The bedrooms, especially the two masters upstairs,
need more lighting.
2. Telluride Rentals should feature Chef Bud Thomas of
Tastebud's as a choice in chefs. He is excellent and this was the second
time we have used him.
3. The power went out two nights in a row in Mountain
Village. The first night for about 3 hours, the second for over an hour.
Thank God we had a gas stove top. A generator would have come in very
nicely.
All in all, our stay was beyond our expectations......we shall return!
