We absolutely loved our stay at Rivercrown #2. The townhouse was beautiful furnished with top of the line furnishings and state of the art appliances. The heated floors throughout were so comforting. It has one of the best equipped kitchens in any condo we've ever rented. Instead of going out for dinner, we enjoyed cooking our own meals and gathering around the huge dining table. Highly recommend this condo and we plan on returning sometime next year.

Very nice telluride town home well located near Oak Street lift and
Main Street (Colorado) restaurants. Great location for winter, would
be perfect for summer.
The Good-Location, Kitchen, Views, and layout of the home are
quite good. This may be the best location in town for summer
visits.
The not so good-Rivercrown #2 is clearly a rental property and is
lacking in some of amenities that accompany a home that is a
private home that is rented out occasionally (no corkscrew, limited
glass wear, silverware and not enough comfortable furniture).
Seriously funky chairs and sofa. The TVs in the bedrooms did not
work properly and the TV upstairs was only so-so. Could not get a
DVD player working. No Stereo System.
Overall a very nice place to take the family but not perfect.
Manager Response: 09/30/2009 We agree that the furnishings in this unit were not up to par with our other properties, but this was fully explained to the guest and because of this, he received a 50% discount during the Christmas holidays (our highest season).
This property was sold in the spring of 2009 and the new owners have totally redecorated with beautiful high-end furnishings, as can be seen in the slideshow. There are new flat-screen tv's, a stereo and the kitchen is fully and completely equipped. Rivercrown #2 is now a lovely choice; we are confident that anyone who rents this property will be pleased.
Rivercrown 2 is a newly built, luxury town home located in the heart of Telluride town. This three- bedroom, three and a half bathroom rental property sleeps six guests over three spacious levels. Rivercrown 2 has breathtaking views of the iconic Ajax Peak, and these views can be enjoyed from the spacious deck overlooking the Beaver Pond. This town home is remarkable in every detail, and is the perfect choice for those seeking a deluxe Telluride vacation.
Upon entering the town home, guests are welcomed into a beautiful stone foyer. There are two guest suites off the foyer and one half-bathroom. One of the guest suites has a king-sized bed with a private bathroom. There is a combined shower and tub in this private bathroom. The second guest suite has a split king (it can be either a king-sized bed or two twin beds). This guest suite also has a private bathroom with a tub and shower combination.
A spiral staircase leads guests up to a decadent great room that occupies the entire second floor. The first thing that strikes you are the sensational views of Ajax Peak, framed perfectly by huge glass sliding doors. Here, guests can enjoy a full gourmet kitchen with stainless steel appliances and a dining table for eight. There is a welcoming lounge area surrounding a gas fireplace and a quaint reading corner with two armchairs. There is a large, flat screen TV in this main living area. On sunny days, there is a fabulous deck with stylish outdoor furniture and a grill. This deck is the ultimate place to spend Telluride's famous summer days!
The top floor of the town home is occupied entirely by the master suite. There is a king-sized bed and a beautiful master bathroom with a large steam shower and an oversized jetted tub. The master suite also has its own private deck, facing Ajax Peak.
All guest suites have flat screen TV's.
Rivercrown 2 is undoubtedly one of Telluride's finest vacation rental properties. This exquisite property is located close to everything Telluride has to offer in both winter and in summer. It is a one-minute walk to the gondola station, and a two-minute walk to Telluride's Main Street and Telluride Town Park. There are also numerous trail heads close by for endless hiking and biking.
