Russell Estate | Mountain Village Luxury Home Rental in Telluride

Russell Drive is a magnificent estate at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac in Mountain Village. With direct access to the golf course in the summer, and the Galloping Goose ski run in the winter, this spectacular home ticks every box in terms of luxurious vacation homes. Prime location, privacy and exquisite finishes make this one of Mountain Village's most unique residences.



There is a main house and a guest house, which together contain eight bedrooms and ten bathrooms. A grand staircase winds up to the entrance of the main home, where guests enter into what is arguably one of Mountain Village's most spectacular great rooms. Huge cathedral windows face the San Sophia ridge to the north and also catch the afternoon light from the south. The great room features vaulted ceilings and a gas fireplace. Glass doors open out to a large deck facing north. There are also glass doors opening out onto a separate, south facing deck which has an outdoor gas fireplace and patio furniture where guests can sit in the afternoon sun and watch the skiers whizz by! The kitchen overlooks the great room and has granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances by Sub Zero, Wolf and Bosch, a wine fridge and two dishwashers. There is also a large dining table to complete this open plan living area. There is a laundry room and an office just off the great room, near the kitchen area.



To the far left, and far right of the sprawling great room are two (almost identical) master suites. Both suites have a king-sized bed, gas fireplace, small private deck, separate private bathroom with tub and steam shower, as well as large, walk-in wardrobes. These decadent suites both have fabulous mountain views through huge glass windows.



The lower level of the home features an additional four guest suites. Three of the guest suites have split king beds while the fourth guest suite has two sets of bunk beds, which are full on the bottom and twin-sized on top. Each guest suite has a private bathroom and a walk-in wardrobe. There is an additional living room on the lower level with a gas fireplace, deck, and kitchen/bar area. Just off this living room is a large home theater for movie watching! On the east end of the home, there is a kitchenette with a microwave, refrigerator & dishwasher. There is also the ski room, with access to an outdoor patio. The patio features a hot tub, and direct access to the ski run. There is also a second laundry room downstairs next to the wet bar and ski room. On the west end of the lower level is a heated, three-car garage.



The self-contained guest house provides additional accommodations for a nanny, pilot, or small family with an additional two bedrooms and a kitchen and living area. One of the bedrooms has a king bed and the other bedroom has a queen-sized bed.
