Telluride-Rentals was inconsisterate Overall Rating Reviewed by Marco on 02/11/2010
The Telemark penthouse has 84 steps from the garage level to the kitchen. When we arrived it was discovered the elevator did not work. I called my contact Andre, who made one call to a Patrick, then I never heard from Andre again. Patrick tried to help but was only able to provide appologizes. I was never contacted by Telluride Rentals once to appologize about the inconvienance or to offer any updates or concessions.
This was my third year using Telluride Rentals. My first two I rented the Kayenta unit 4. In total I have spent just over $28k with Telluride Rentals. I am disappointed at the lack of involvement from Telluride Retntals.
Manager Response: 02/11/2010 During our pre-arrival check, the elevator was working. Unfortunately, it broke down just after the guests arrived. Andre, our Guest Services Manager, was in constant contact with Patrick, the caretaker. The company that installed the elevator is no longer in business and Patrick tried to get several other companies to come to Telluride to fix it, but none of them could get here before the guest departed. We offered to assist them with transporting luggage on departure and left voicemails and texts, but they were not returned. We also supplied the guest with a free ski pass for three days, as a way of making up for the inconvenience.
We are sorry that the guest felt a lack of involvement, but we were on top of the situation every day and unfortunately, this was beyond our control.
