We are now right in the thick of the holiday season here in Telluride. We have had 11″ of snow in the past few days, and there is a consistent storm pattern in the forecast for the next few weeks. We have a lot of guest asking us what to do for New Years Eve in Telluride. If you don’t already have a restaurant reservation, there are lots of things you can do with friends and family. Telluride is a really special place to ring in the New Year!
Every New Years Eve in Mountain Village there is the torchlight parade which kicks off at 6:30 pm. This is followed by an impressive fireworks show which is a fun family event.
The Ah Haa School for the Arts will also be hosting a New Years Eve Gala. Guest will enjoy a champagne reception with passed hors d’ouevres while mingling to the cools sounds of live jazz. Surrounded by the new works of that year’s guest artist, the Daniel Tucker Gallery is transformed to a formal dining room for the four-course plated sit down dinner catered by one of Telluride’s exceptional chefs. And to top it off our silent wine auction showcases one-of-a-kind wine packages and bottles of rare and unique wines. So join us in ringing in the new year. Gala Artist: Barbara Gilhooly. This event costs $250 per person. For tickets call 970-728-3886 or visit New Years Eve Gala page
