Summer in Telluride

Well, summer in the San Juan's is officially winding down. We are nearing freezing temperatures at night, and there is a hint that the Aspen trees are about to turn. However, we are still blessed with blue bird days, and there is so much to enjoy in the Telluride valley before the winter chill sets in!

Tomorrow is the annual Imogene Pass Run. 1,500 runners take off from Ouray at 7.30am, clamber over Imogene Pass, and arrive in Telluride several hours later. Watch the runners come over the finish line on the junction of North Oak and Columbia Streets.

Next weekend is the last major music event of summer, the Telluride Blues & Brews Festival. This event will be taking place on September 17, 18 & 19 and features a huge line up of artists including George Thorogood & The Destroyers, B.B.
