Sledding down the perfect hill is often among your most cherished childhood memories, and your children can experience an awesome sledding experience during your visit. Firecracker Hill has made the sledding dreams of many children come true, and you'll find it near the Telluride Town Park. You'll also find a nice variety of sled rentals at the Nordic Center, and you can call 970-728-1144 for more information.
You'll find both indoor and outdoor ice-skating opportunities in the Telluride Town Park. At the Hanley Rink, you'll find a refrigerated, NHL-size hockey rink that is completely enclosed. The outdoor ice-skating option is on a natural, non-refrigerated rink that is open seasonally from mid-December to mid-February, and there is a warming hut available to escape the cold temperatures.
