TRAILSIDE NIRVANA

Inspired by the tranquility of a centuries-old Japanese temple, Trailside Nirvana is one of the most peaceful homes in Telluride. The interior design is by Andrea Jovine and the architecture is by Michael Fuller. The entire space is filled with FengShui principles and timeless handmade craftsmanship. Nestled trailside at the Telluride Ski Resort, guests of Trailside Nirvana will be front and center to all the mountain top action, yet far enough removed to have total privacy and peace.

Authentic Asian Influences

Constructed from the Fir timbers of an ancient Japanese temple, the front facade of Trailside Nirvana is dramatic yet welcoming. There’s even a gong by the front door. Once inside, comfort is a priority. In the formal living area, two neutral sofas surround the fireplace. Overhead, the large timber beams create an intricate vaulted ceiling.

Large windows frame the jaw-dropping views of the Rocky Mountains. Next to the windows, a baby Grand piano perches and waits to be played. There’s also a second living area that’s a bit cozier— with an armchair, sectional sofa, fireplace, and an HDTV. This is a great spot to watch a movie or catch up with your favorite TV show.

A Generous & Comfortable Kitchen

The kitchen is completely custom— with a paneled refrigerator and a spacious oval island with bar seating. Other premier appliances include a wall-mounted double oven, a high-end gas range, a vent hood, a microwave, and a dishwasher. There’s also a farmhouse sink, an espresso maker, glass-front cabinets, and a convenient wine storage grid. It’s a perfect spot to brew the morning coffee, warm some blueberry muffins for breakfast, or prepare some happy hour cocktails and snacks.

Four Sizable Bedroom Suites

Trailside Nirvana boasts four private bedrooms, each with its own design and style. The first bedroom suite features a king-size, four-poster bed frame surrounded by classic Asian touches. In the second bedroom, a queen-size bed sits in front of a Japanese-inspired screen.

In the third bedroom, a comfortable queen-size bed, black-out drapes, and two overstuffed armchairs create a comfortable, secluded, and completely relaxing suite. In the fourth bedroom, the king-size bed faces large windows that perfectly frame the epic Rocky Mountain views outside. Each of the four bedrooms includes its own ensuite bathroom, so everyone in your group can find some space.

Trailside Nirvana has been designed to take full advantage of the rugged mountain surroundings, while still providing total seclusion and peacefulness. You’ll want to light a fire in the firepit in the backyard, then gather around the flames and roast s’ mores in the crisp mountain twilight.
