THE LIGHTHOUSE

Telluride, CO

4 Bedrooms
5 Bathrooms
8 Sleeps

Built in 1903, The Lighthouse was Telluride’s original telephone exchange building. Recently restored, this charming historic outpost is now a luxurious four-bedroom, five-bathroom mountain retreat with two living areas. Located right in the middle of all the cafes and boutiques of downtown Telluride, you’ll still be only a few blocks away from the world-class ski slopes and the gondola. Let The Lighthouse light the way to your next spectacular Rocky Mountain getaway.

Luxe Living Spaces

In the main level great room, rustic accents combine perfectly with the elegant, contemporary design. Two caramel-colored sofas and plush armchairs face a large, crackling fireplace with a rough-cut wood beam mantle. Overhead, more exposed beams and a star chandelier add a mountain lodge flair. The bright Colorado sunshine pours in through the large windows, which also frame views of the mountain peaks. A generous formal dining table has seating for six people.

Down a short staircase, a media room has a large flatscreen television and an overstuffed leather sectional sofa— ideal for watching a great movie or binging your favorite television show. There’s also a convenient mudroom with built-in storage and a laundry room for storing and washing all your gear.

An Opulent Kitchen

In the kitchen, gleaming gray and white marble countertops offer plenty of space for preparing your morning coffee, a quickie lunch, or an intimate dinner for your whole crew. A spacious island has a waterfall edge and plenty of bar seating.

A vintage mirror is mounted over the farmhouse sink, and the gold fixtures add an indulgent, luxe feel to the workspace. Open shelving, a custom panel refrigerator, and a sparkling tile backsplash complete the stylish yet efficient space.

Four Intimate Bedroom Suites

Three bedrooms are down the hallway, each with their own private bathroom. The first bedroom has a twin-over-full bunk bed that the kids will love. The second bedroom has a queen-size bed, tons of custom storage space, and an attached bathroom with a tub/shower combo and a Carrerra marble vanity. The third bedroom has a king-size bed and an ensuite bathroom with stacked subway tile and a step-in shower.

Upstairs on the second floor is the ultra-secluded master suite. A sumptuous king-size bed outfitted with clean white linens lies under a cathedral ceiling. Skylights and wood beams add to the airy, spacious feel. The spa-like master bathroom features a freestanding tub, double marble vanity, and a separate step-in shower with glass doors.

A Lighthouse in the Rockies

The majestic peaks of the Rocky Mountains are visible from nearly every window in the home. There’s also a sun-drenched second-floor deck that makes a perfect lounging or alfresco dining spot.

When your crew is ready to explore the box canyon, award-winning restaurants, casual cafes, and eclectic boutiques are right around the corner. And easy access to the ski slopes and the gondola are only a few short blocks away. Let The Lighthouse be the beacon that guides you to your next spectacular Telluride holiday.
