June is one of the most beautiful times of the year in the historic mining town of Telluride, Colorado, and it only gets better when the Telluride Balloon Festival arrives in town. This will be the 37th consecutive year that the skies above Telluride have come to life with color as dozens of hot air balloons are launched into the air, and everyone is welcome to come out and enjoy this amazing experience June 5-7. This is a free event that includes several balloon-related activities for all ages, and lucky spectators will have the opportunity to help the pilots launch their balloons.
