More Festival Fun

While every day of the festival is filled with a variety of incredible live music, there’s much more to the Telluride Bluegrass Festival. These are just a few of the extra activities that are offered during the festival.

Elks Park Workshops

Each day of the festival offers those in attendance a chance to enjoy some extra time with the many performers. You may find a workshop that features your favorite bluegrass picker revealing the secrets of his or her amazing talent, and there are always plenty of unique musical collaborations being performed at a moment’s notice. Other workshops may include the art of instrument building, finger skills and poetry readings. This is also the place for visitors to watch and listen to the bands perform in the preliminary rounds of the festival contest.

NightGrass Shows

During Telluride’s Bluegrass Festival, the music doesn’t stop just because the day’s talent lineup has finished with their performances. Instead, the night is filled with music at popular venues throughout the town of Telluride and nearby Mountain Village. While it’s too early to have a specific lineup available, you may expect musical performances to be held each night at the historic Sheridan Opera House, the historic Swede-Finn Hall, the Palm Theater or the Telluride Conference Center.
