It’s just about that special time of the year when the fabulous fungus is celebrated at the Telluride Mushroom Festival, which has been scheduled for Aug. 13-16 in the historic mountain town of Telluride, Colorado. A lot is packed into this amazing event, and participants may expect to enjoy foraging for mushrooms, interactive workshops and talks offered by mushroom specialists, cooking classes and special dinners that feature mushrooms and other wild foods.
